    The correct size for you depends on how many fixtures you intend to use at the same time. Here’s the general rule of thumb:

    3.5 GPM for 1-2 fixtures used simultaneously

    5 GPM for 2-3 fixtures used simultaneously

    7 GPM for 3-4 fixtures used simultaneously

  • Most gas califonts require your home to have the mains pressure system in place.

    There are two pressure systems in New Zealand: the low pressure system (usually found in older homes) and the mains pressure system.

    Here are some clues to find out which system your home relies on: with the low pressure system you may experience long wait times for hot water, struggle to get a decent pressure while showering and notice changes in flow when someone else uses water in the house.

    If you’re on the mains system, you’ll experience a more consistent water flow and temperature. If your house was built after the 1990s, you likely have mains pressure.
